Pasadena City College Big Band
The Pasadena City College Studio Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Andrea Baker has built a solid reputation as a top performing big band in the LA basin.  With appearances from the Playboy Jazz Festival and Los Angeles Jazz Institute to the famed Jazz Bakery, the band has recorded six CD’s and has received airplay nationwide including KJZZ radio with famed jazz emcee, Chuck Niles. The band’s repertoire includes the music of top arrangers and features a host of outstanding soloists.

Welcome to the world of Nutty, where seven jetsetter jazzniks swagger among the rock archives, shaking and stirring up a martini mix of straight-ahead jazz, big band swing, crime jazz/spy jazz, film/TV themes, atomic lounge, latin, and a shot of bop to create the ultimate in spiked rock cocktail classics.  It's a fun time, with a Rat Pack vibe, and the music will keep you involved to the last song of the last set.
